Yellow Room enrolments are generally a mixture of children at the younger end of Pre Prep age and those not quite old enough for Prep entry the following year. The program offers a wide range of play-based learning experiences that encourage, support and challenge children to develop a love of learning.

Children participate in  teacher-led and child-initiated activities that follow a general routine of indoor and outdoor play activities, language, music, group interaction and rest.

Play experiences are age appropriate and aim to build on literacy and numeracy knowledge, expand abilities, build confidence and enhance social skills. Children in yellow room develop a wide range of essential skills to prepare them for their transition to prep or to the Blue Room.
